Saydi's 6th Birthday

Saydi's 6th Birthday!! 11/23/2010
Saydi had gotten ready for school, but she had wished for snow for her Birthday and we sure got it! School was cancelled, so she missed her Thanksgiving party and taking snacks for that party/her Birthday, and her Birthday party was cancelled too. She was fine with it since she had gotten the snow for her Birthday. She's such an agreeable child!

Saydi recieved a new robe for her birthday from Sophie, so Sophie inherited her old Hannah Montana Robe.  These two love eachother so much!! I'm glad they're best friends.

The one thing she asked for was a 'Tangled' Rapunzel doll.  She had opened all her other gifts and we had told her we were done.  Then we brought this one out and she knew exactly what it was.
So excited!

Saydi and her cake w/Rapunzel watching.  My sweet 6 yr old!

Lyndee enjoyed the cake very much, can't wait for her 1st Birthday.

Messy baby after too much cake!  She'll be so much fun!  Saydi and Sophie wouldn't touch their 1st Birthday cakes, I think Lyndee will dig right in!

Saydi's Birthday party was postponed until the day after Thanksgiving.  We went and picked all the girls up then started in on Hair Bling and Manicures.  Aunt Bobbi came and helped out.  The girls had a lot of fun getting dolled up.

Saydi opening gifts, She has the sweetest friends!

Here is everyone who could make it to the newly planned party, 2 girls weren't able to come, but they still had a blast!
Jaclyn Mickelson, Peyton Humphreys, Maycie Taggart, Olivia Mickelson, Saydi Mickelson, Lindsey Rigby, and Tenleigh Walker.

Here is the snow the day after Saydi had wished for it. Doesn't look like much, but we had a pretty good storm.  The wind blew a lot of it too.

Sophie's 3rd Birthday

My 3 Year Old Sophie 10-08-2010

Sophie didn't want me to take a pic of her Birthday Outfit.  It was 'stinkin cute' as she would say.

I baked Sophie's cake the night before and she kept asking for some.  I told her it wasn't frosted so she had to wait, she dug in while I was showering.  Oh well her Birthday, her cake!

Lyndee and Daddy waiting to go to lunch.  On the girls' Birthday we let them choose where they would like to go for lunch, it seems that my girls always choose Subway as their Birthday lunch spot.  Fine w/ME!
Actually Sophie did ask to go to 'Golden Crabs' (or Red Lobster), but we weren't going to Poky that day, my girls do have expensive tastes when it comes to bigger restraunts.

The one thing Sophie was constant on asking for was a 'Pinata' She was so excited to have one, but wouldn't hit it.  Everyone else had fun hitting it and Sophie had fun watching.  So we invited close family over for Pinata hitting, cake and ice cream.  Fun night.

Dora Birthday cake, Soph loved the attention this year.  Notice the Pjs?  She was naked before anyone else arrived, so we made her get dressed and this is what she chose.

Another Birthday outfit, she was modeling this one.

Sophie had a blast opening her presents, she got Dora Duplo blocks, Dora DVDs, and Phonics.  She had a fun party.

If most of you know Sophie she is naked in her unders 98% of the time at home.  If she could just wear her unders all the time she would, she's a warm blooded gal.  Gma Holly came to help Me at my Relief Society Super Saturday so she brought Sophie's gifts then.

Sophie got a new pillowcase from Gma Holly, yup you guessed it DORA!!  She was so excited she wanted it on her pillow ASAP!

Soph got new Dora Slippers from Gma Holly, Gpa Russ and Joey. She absolutely LOVES them!  Can't believe my sweetie is 3!! It seems like just yesterday she was born.  Time sure has flown.  She is an amazing big sister to Lyndee, didn't think Sophie had a soft spot that big for anyone, she is so protective of both her sisters, but especially her baby.  Though she can be super stubborn, Sophie is a loving sweet child.  I am so blessed to have her!

Caribou County Fair 2010

This is all the pics we have for the fair this year. We all put things in the fair, Saydi got all blue ribbons, and Sophie got 2 blue and 1 yellow. The girls got to go on a bounce house and had so much fun. We love fair time, everyone is home and there's always something to do. Lloyd was able to come with us this year to the other parades and the bounce houses.
Saydi got her face painted at children's day.

Cute rose.

Lyndee was just happy to be there.

Sophie got a butterfly.

Here is Melissa Hubbard painting Saydi. She's so talented! (Not just with facepainting)

Here's our brother-in-law Gary signaling the end of the childrens parade.

Sophie rode on the Rockin Rhythm Cloggers float with Saydi.

They were supposed to be cheering, but Sophie just sat there.

Lyndee waiting with Makenzie for the parade to start.

Such a cutie pie.

Tautphaus Park Zoo 2010

July 31st we went to Rexburg to sleep over at Lloyd's sister Sandy's house. We had decided to go to Target to do Saydi's School shopping and instead of going to Layton we went to Idaho Falls. After shopping we went to Tautphaus Park Zoo with Sandy and her girls. It was a really warm day but we had some snow cones to cool us off. We had a lot of fun, super cute and cheap zoo.
Here is Saydi pretending to be an egg in a nest.

It was really hot outside, and Lloyd was cooling Lyndee off while the girls played.

Sophie and Morgan sitting in an egg.
Saydi was mad that she couldn't sit on the tiger, it was really hot and would have burned her butt if she'd have sat on it.

Saydi posed on the Lion and wanted her pic taken.

We let the girls get flattened penny souviners. Peyton, Morgan, Sophie and Saydi. They had so much fun together.

'Madagascar!! There's King Julian' That's what we heard when we saw the ringtail lemurs.

These cute little ducks were my favorite!

The zoo keepers were feeding the baby penguins. Not this lady, but another one got bitten by a larger penguin on the leg. They're super mean! But just protecting their babies.

Lyndee was such a trooper and loved being outside.

Saydi got to pet a tiny turtle. It was cool. Sophie didn't want to touch it.

These huge tortises were fun to watch and the smaller one was super fast!

Bear Lake 2010

We try every summer to get to Bear Lake with the girls, this year we went with Lloyd's sisters Heather, Susan, Sandy, and Melissa with their families. All the kids had so much fun even though the wind was blowing like a bugger and our canopy kept trying to get away from us. We would like to go more often during the summer, but it seems like we never have enough time, or make the time.

We love North Shore it is so nice to be able to let the kids walk out so far and still have shallow water. It is a great place to let them play.
Lyndee was tired after her huge blowout which resulted in taking her carseat apart and removing her cute cover. My sweet baby.

Otis and Grandma Linda rode with us over to Bear Lake.

On the way home we stopped at Big J's for dinner, the girls were a bit worn out!

Morgan, Carter, and Soph buiding sand castles. These three are trouble, but have so much fun together. Sophie had sand EVERYWHERE!! But she had a lot of fun.

Saydi was so proud of her sand castle, both girls absolutely LOVE 'The Beach'.

Lloyd built a sand castle w/Saydi and the kids, she was so excited.

Lyndee loved the water too, it was a bit chilly especially with the wind, but she liked dipping her toes in.

Peyton, Saydi, Sophie, Carter, and Morgan playin' in the sand.

Otis was getting blown away, but he had a blast too.

Sophie had a lot of fun. She loves the water!
